Today we will discuss how Platform Engineering and DevOps are different yet sometimes mixed up. In spite of having some commonalities, these two concepts are still distinct, and we will see how.

Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, announced today the general availability of Charmed Kubeflow 1.8. Charmed Kubeflow is an open source, end-to-end MLOps platform that enables professionals to easily develop and deploy AI/ML models. It runs on any cloud, including hybrid cloud or multi-cloud scenarios. This latest release also offers the ability to run AI/ML workloads in air-gapped environments.

Azure Key Vault is a cloud-based service provided by Microsoft Azure for managing and safeguarding cryptographic keys, secrets, and digital certificates used by cloud applications and services. It offers a secure and compliant way to store, manage, and control access to these sensitive pieces of information. Key Vault is designed to help protect the confidentiality and integrity of data, enhance the security of applications, and simplify key management tasks.
