The demand for second passports has reached unprecedented levels as individuals seek greater global mobility, secure alternative residences, and unlock expanded business opportunities. Among the most straightforward pathways to dual citizenship are the most trusted Caribbean passport programs offered by Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia. These five Caribbean programs have emerged as streamlined and efficient options to second citizenship, catering to the growing appeal of dual citizenship worldwide.

Dual citizenship status enables individuals to legally hold citizenship in two countries, offering benefits such as visa-free travel, residency rights, and expanded economic possibilities. The concept of a “passport portfolio” is rapidly gaining momentum, providing a safeguard against the risks of relying on a single citizenship. Much like financial diversification, holding multiple passports enhances stability, security, and access to international opportunities.

Globally, dual citizenship has become widely accepted, with around three-quarters of countries now recognizing the practice. From early adopters like the United Kingdom in 1948 to countries like Sweden in 2001 and Australia in 2002, the trend continues to grow, reflecting its importance in a globally connected world.

Here is an overview of the five leading Caribbean CBI programs. You can find out about their costs, the number of counties the citizen can visit and other benefits and requirements below:
