AWS Twitch Series Webcast | CHAOSSEARCH

Lights, Cameras, CHAOSSEARCH Yesterday, Thomas and I had the opportunity to sit down with AM and Nicki from the AWS Twitch series, Build with AM & Nicki. If you’re unfamiliar with the series, it’s definitely a must watch for all things AWS, with a high focus on the different services you can leverage to build products or applications for your business.

Webcast: Is your Log and Event Data Growth Too Much for Elasticsearch?

Information and insight gathered from data delivers tremendous value. But data isn’t helpful if you’re drowning in it! For a while, three open source projects, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (together known as the ELK Stack), were touted as the fastest and most cost-efficient approach to managing log and event data.

Lighten Up! Easily Access & Analyze Your Dark Data

Jim Barksdale, former CEO of Netscape, once said “If we have data, let’s look at data. If all we have are opinions, let’s go with mine.” While Jim may have said this in jest, the exponential boom in data collection indicates that we increasingly prefer to rely on facts rather than conjecture when making business decisions. More data yields greater insights about customer preferences and experiences, internal processes, and security vulnerabilities — just to name a few.

Do you, take Open Distro, for Elasticsearch? I do

CHAOSSEARCH is building a new standard (a new category) in data analytics. Beyond the cost and complexity of Warehousing, Hadoop, or even Elasticsearch solutions. CHAOSSEARCH is a new kind of big data platform that delivers both search and analytics at a price and simplicity yet experienced. At CHAOS, we are primarily focused on transforming object storage (such as S3) into the first multi-model database, where the user provides read-only access to their S3 storage and CHAOS provides the rest.

ChaosSearch Data Refinery: transform without reindexing

Traditional databases suffer a problem when ingesting data. They operate on a schema-on-write approach where data indexed must have a predefined schema as you ingest your data into the database. This schema-on-write model means that you need to take time in advance to dive into your data and understand what is there, and then process your data in advance to fit the defined schema.

Announcing Single Sign-On (SSO) Support for CHAOSSEARCH

We are thrilled to announce that we now offer Single Sign-On (SSO) support for ALL customers on the CHAOSSEARCH platform. You can now integrate your existing identity provider with CHAOSSEACH and have your users access the platform without needing to manage a separate set of credentials.

Pete's Top 3 New AWS Announcements from the Amazon NYC Summit

Only about four months to go before nearly 60,000 people descend on Las Vegas for the eighth annual AWS re:Invent user conference. However, that doesn’t mean that Amazon is going to embargo new service announcements until then. The recent AWS Summit in NYC looked more like a mini-re:Invent with nearly 12,000 people in attendance.

Solving the Search & Analytics Challenge on Cloud Storage at Scale

I have been super fortunate to work with incredibly innovative, talented teams that create powerful technology to help manage the world's data. When I met with Thomas Hazel, CHAOSSEARCH founder and CTO, and Les Yetton, CHAOSSEARCH co-founder and CEO to talk about CHAOSSEARCH — scalable, performant text search to your object storage without having to move any data — I knew it was special and was eager to join.
