While these benefits of the cloud certainly remain true in theory, realizing these benefits in practice can be increasingly difficult as applications and their networks become more complex.

Once you know an essential business process, you can review software applications that will help make your organization more efficient and accurate. Unfortunately, many organizations do not understand their essential business processes. This makes it nearly impossible for them to streamline their organizations, which puts them at a disadvantage in the marketplace.
Two years ago I announced that InfluxData was working on a new core for InfluxDB, a project we named InfluxDB IOx.
