It’s the first day of summer and the perfect opportunity for our summer Sysdig Monitor release round up. For those of you following our progress, we use these blogs to showcase the work we’ve done to add increased functionality, scale, and usability with Sysdig Monitor. Antoni Orfin, Chief Architect at Droplr, has years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications that serve traffic for millions of users across the globe. His journey started with bare-metal infrastructures. Then, he dove deep into cloud. Today, he’s responsible for making things run smoothly on state-of-the-art serverless architecture at Droplr.

Last April, we launched a new feature called Custom Dashboards allowing teams to sort and view data from Raygun Crash Reporting, Real User Monitoring, and Application Performance Management. It was built as an upgrade to our Legacy Dashboard, offering better visualization, customization, and navigation.

Apache SkyWalking provides a very powerful and lightweight backends. In here, I am going to introduce why we design it in these ways and how does it work.
