The Apache Tomcat software is an open-source implementation of the ava Servlet, JavaServer Pages (JSPs), Java Expression Language and Java WebSocket technologies. Tomcat is often used as a backend application server that connects to other web-facing servers like Apache and Microsoft IIS. Tomcat also includes its own native HTTP connector that allows it to be used as a standalone HTTP server.

Earlier this year, we reached an important early milestone for the next-generation Sensu Go platform with the General Availability of commercial support for Sensu Go. A few weeks later, we announced that Sensu Core 1.x – the original Sensu open source project – would reach end of life (EOL) on December 31, 2019, and that commercial support for Sensu Enterprise (latest version 3.x) would reach EOL on March 31, 2020.

Our third day was a bit of a different one. We started off the morning with a SCOM roundtable session that featured presentations from Microsoft, NiCE, Cookdown and SquaredUp.
