The renowned German manufacturing magazine “Factory Innovation” recently conducted a comprehensive practical test on four leading alarm notification software for industrial manufacturing in their latest issue (01/23). The four alarming systems that were evaluated include: the Alarm Control Center from Alarm IT Factory (a spin-off of Siemens AG), ALERT 4.0 from Micromedia, the Alarm and Information Portal (AIP) from VIDEC, and SIGNL4 from Derdack.

Following the release of upstream Kubernetes on 11th of April, Canonical Kubernetes 1.27 is generally available in the form of MicroK8s, with Charmed Kubernetes expected to follow shortly. We consistently follow the upstream release cadence to provide our users and customers with the latest improvements and fixes, together with security maintenance and enterprise support for Kubernetes on Ubuntu.

Today we’re excited to announce the InfluxDB add-on for Ockam Orchestrator. Through the use of the add-on, customers that are using InfluxDB Cloud can use Ockam to improve their security posture by automatically granting uniquely identifiable, least privilege, time-limited credentials for any client that needs to connect to InfluxDB Cloud.
