In the software lifecycle, you need to know what is affecting the customer from your frontend code to your underlying infrastructure. However, no one to date has solved for monitoring the health of software code vs. systems at the level that we have taken on — or at the scale that our customers require, as everything from grocery shopping to gaming is now digital.

I’m really pleased to announce Puppet’s new Scaling DevOps Service, a pop-up consultancy inside Puppet designed to advise businesses on how to automate, streamline, and scale DevOps practices. This service was established as a result of conversations with dozens of customers who all stagnated in their DevOps evolution and turned to us for advice on how to scale that wall.

Here at InfluxData, we’ve been focusing recently on deepening our support for Microsoft Azure. First we turned on InfluxDB Cloud on Azure West Europe, in Amsterdam, back in July. Then we launched InfluxDB Cloud on Azure East US, in Virginia, in September. Today, we’re pleased to announce that InfluxDB Cloud joins InfluxDB Enterprise on Azure Marketplace.

Among the many topics that a tech founder CEO can write about in a blog, I always feel that fundraising announcements are the least glorious especially when compared to announcing great achievements such as business growth, new products, or meaningful partnerships. However, funding is a moment when others take notice, it’s a major milestone for the team and an acknowledgement from the market that what we’re building is needed and in-demand.

JFrog is making some important changes that will impact users of Bintray, JCenter (part of Bintray), GoCenter, and ChartCenter. Bintray has provided the open source community a free, universal cloud platform for publishing and distributing binaries. Bintray helped JFrog support the Java community as the host of the JCenter repository for Java OSS libraries, packages and components. We launched GoCenter and ChartCenter to extend similar services to the Go and cloud-native communities.

Dependence on digital business skyrocketed in the last year, with customers expecting seamless, always-on access to applications and digital services from any device, anywhere. This trend has placed developer and IT teams under more pressure than ever before to not only deliver these digital experiences, but keep them up and running at all times.

With so many esteemed adversaries competing in the same DevSecOps space, winning the “Best DevSecOps Solution” award feels even more special. We’re very grateful to the community and the DevOps Dozen2 judges who voted for JFrog Xray in this extremely tough category.

I’m delighted to announce that Honeycomb has raised $20M in Series B funding, led by e.ventures Growth, with participation from existing investors Scale Venture Partners, Storm Ventures, Next World Capital, and Merian Ventures, and joined by Industry Ventures. This follows on the heels of Gartner placing Ivanti as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Tools in October 2020.
