Looking forward to KubeCon

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America is just around the corner. I’ve been looking forward to this event for a long time, especially since 2020 was virtual and it looks like there will be an in person option this year. This should be a great event and there are going to be a ton of awesome sessions. Last year was simply enormous with over 15K attendees who joined virtually.

Planning Ahead to Maximize the Value of Attending VMworld

The difference between attending as magnificent an event as VMworld with, versus without, a plan of attack is a night versus day experience. I’ve had the good fortune of attending this event as both a speaker and an attendee, and I look back with fondness on the interactions and experience. However, both those visits were in person. As I prepared to attend VMworld virtually for the first time, I wondered if my plan of attack would change? Turned out, not so much.

We recently attended the 2021 Cloud-Native Days Summit, where our co-founding CEO Ben Ofiri gave a lightning round talk on How to Troubleshoot Kubernetes With Confidence. In case you missed it, here’s a recording and transcript for your convenience.

Highlights from Black Hat USA 2021

Black Hat USA is one of the industry’s oldest and most well-established security events. Last year, the conference was held virtually for the first time in its history. This year’s conference brought together the best of both worlds, with a hybrid event that was held virtually and in person in Las Vegas. Historically, Black Hat has seen about 20,000 attendees at its in-person conference.

Resilience, DevSecOps, and other key takeaways from RSAC 2021

For the first time in its 30-year history, the 2021 RSA Conference was a virtual-only event, and not in its usual time during the spring. But, with 20,000 registrants joining for the various sessions, it was a testament to this year’s conference theme of resilience.
