December 1 saw the introduction in New Zealand of the Privacy Act 2020 which not only brings increased protection for individuals but also has some new implications for businesses, including increased fines for non-compliance and the reporting of serious privacy breaches.

Looking back at the unprecedented challenges we faced together in 2020, we’d like to extend our thanks to the community of people who have continued to work towards Netdata’s mission of simplifying monitoring and troubleshooting for everyone. Let’s review some of this year’s highlights.

2021 is around the corner and we had such a tremendous journey this year. We’re excited to share that the official Elastic Cloud Terraform provider is now available in beta. Operations and SRE teams often rely on Terraform to safely manage production-related infrastructure using methodologies such as infrastructure as code, which allows you to apply peer-reviewed infrastructure changes in an automated and controlled fashion. The provider works with Elasticsearch Service on Elastic Cloud, Elastic Cloud Enterprise, and Elasticsearch Service Private environments.
