The excitement around GrafanaCONline 2022 continues to soar after another day filled with demos of new features and functionalities in Grafana 9, Grafana Mimir, and Grafana Tempo. Plus we learned how a mini arcade turned into a Grafana display; how Grafana transformed into a health tracker, and how, yes, Grafana can run Doom.

GrafanaCONline 2022 is off to a great start with exciting news from around the Grafana-verse and a jam-packed day filled with dashboards showcasing how Grafana is used in space, in industrial IoT, at live events, and even in an effort to prevent food waste.

Kubecon EU returned to Spain. This time to Valencia, city of paella and horchata and, of course, a great place for big events. We had a great time meeting you all in person, and attending the talks. Here are our hot takes from the event. The main event started on Wednesday, but before that different co-located events took place: Ebpf Day, Cloud Native SecurityCon, and PrometheusDay among others. These events gathered a large number of attendees.

Knowledge has been a fantastic time of keynote sessions, fireside chats, roundtables, and demos. We were excited to be able to bring people together again to four live, in-person events—in New York City, The Hague, Las Vegas, and Sydney—as well as provide a digital experience for those unable to make it to a live event.

Last week hundreds of community leaders, customers, and partners gathered in San Diego for the first stop of JFrog’s multi-city swampUp world tour! It was my first in-person swampUP and I can’t tell you how invigorating it was to see everyone back together, in-person again. As I was walking the halls and sitting in on the keynote sessions, I felt like I was at a big reunion of old colleagues and friends who have not seen each other in years.

After two years of virtual editions, KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe returned as a hybrid event, with its in-person portion held in Valencia, Spain, from May 16-20. As platinum sponsors of this year’s conference, Datadog held a booth where we showcased the latest updates to our Kubernetes monitoring solution, including the new Kubernetes resources overview, improved OpenTelemetry support, and the latest version of the Datadog Operator for Kubernetes.

We had a fantastic time at the Kafka Summit in London this year. It was so great to be meeting everyone face to face again after such a long break. It was interesting to see how people had progressed with their Kafka implementations. At the 2019 event people were just getting started trying out Kafka in small test environments but no one had enough production experience to know understand their needs for management at scale and production support.
